Getting Around NATA 2017

Navigating a new city can be intimidating. To help relieve travel stress and get you to the many NATA 2017 event locations on time, here are some tips related to getting around Houston.

 

Airport Transportation

All official NATA hotels are located in the downtown Houston area, which is approximately 11 miles from William P. Hobby Airport and 22 miles form Bush Intercontinental Airport. For more information about airport transportation, visit the Housing & Travel section of the NATA convention website.

 

Parking

Parking is available in garage and surface lots throughout downtown Houston and near the George R. Brown Convention Center. A map of the area is available on the downtown Houston district website

 

Shuttle Service

The following NATA hotels will have shuttle service to the George R. Brown Convention Center for official convention events:

  • Aloft Houston Hotel
  • Courtyard Houston Downtown/Convention Center
  • Doubletree by Hilton Downtown
  • Hyatt Regency Houston
  • JW Marriott Houston Downtown
  • Residence Inn Houston Downtown/CC
  • SpringHill Suites Houston Downtown/CC
  • Whitehall Houston Downtown

Shuttle buses begin service at 6:30 a.m. Monday, June 26, just prior to the opening of registration, and end 30 minutes after the Welcome Reception concludes. Tuesday, June 27, shuttle service starts 45 minutes before educational programming begins and ends 30 minutes after district meetings. Wednesday and Thursday, June 28-29, shuttle service starts 45 minutes before and ends 30 minutes after educational programming.
